The delay

Sorry, gang, I've been on holiday in Germany with my man...hence the absence of posts! I will be filling you in on good ol' Deutschland this week...but first, some photos of my pre-holiday trip to Gouda (pronounced "How-da" with that guttural, french-sounding "hhhhh" sound at the beginning. one of the Dutch language characteristics that makes the language exceedingly difficult for English-speakers. hell, we can't even pronounce Spanish correctly. reference the "guadalupe" river in TX.) which I could not resist posting, as they are just so Dutch!
